Lewis Parks Berry: Achievements

Lewis Parks Berry came from a line of extremely successful military men and was in no small way influenced by the legacy he had to carry. Following his graduation from the Naval Academy in Maryland, Lewis Parks Berry worked as a Soccer Coach at the Academy for a short time, enjoying his passion. Soon after, he continued his education for a short time in Athens, Georgia. He was then assigned to a Naval Supply Depot in the Philippines, where he arrived a few days before a huge volcanic eruption eight times the magnitude of Mt. St. Helens eruption. It was through this time that Lewis Parks Berry shone, and he was later given an Air Force Achievement Medal for Superior Performance in the line of duty.

Lewis Parks Berry is an active competitive body builder and was the 1993 South Carolina State Junior Bodybuilding Champion. He keeps up with his intense workout routines and diets and is a stay-at-home father to his son and daughter. He loves the extra time he is allowed to spend with his children, and Lewis Parks Berry thanks God for giving him the ability to spend the time at home with his children. This is incredibly important to him after the loss of his younger son, Kai, in 2009.

Lewis Parks Berry's most recent endeavor is that which he believes is his greatest. A few years ago, after meeting his wife Anna, he became a follower of Jesus Christ. He has attended Calvary Church for years and intends to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through everything he does in life. He sends credit to God for all success, triumphs, and accolades in his life.

Lewis Parks Berry: Passion

Lewis Parks Berry is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he received multiple awards and promotions during his years of service. After his time in the Navy, he transitioned back into civilian life, where he was confronted with the necessity to find a job. Quite quickly, he was picked up by the American Club Systems Corporation, where he moved up the food chain at a rapid pace. As one of their most successful managers, he received awards for having the top sales in the company three times in two years.

However, Lewis Parks Berry was not satisfied with being the top manager at the American Club Systems Corporation. When the opportunity arose, he joined Merrill Lynch, the largest Brokerage firm in the world. Entering their 24 month Professional Development Program, he demonstrated his intelligence and ability to learn quickly by receiving the highest grades in the series 7, 63, and 65 in his class. He set a record for the Downton Charleston office in South Carolina by graduating from the program in 11 months and becoming a partner.

Lewis Parks Berry met his wife Anna and was soon saved by Jesus Christ through her. Looking back, he attributes all of his success to the grace of God. He and Anna went on to have three children, two boys, and a girl. Lewis Parks Berry recently sold his partnership at Merrill Lynch to take up Soccer coaching, which is his longtime passion. This also allows him to be a stay-at-home father, a blessing for which he thanks God.
